Refund Policy

14-day refund on unused credits

If you change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as the credits in that pack are unused. No explanation needed.

If you have used some of the pack, we can refund the unused portion at our discretion.

If something went wrong

Credits are only meant to be spent on comics that actually generate. If a generation fails, or you were charged credits and got nothing usable, contact us — we will restore the credits or refund them, even outside the 14-day window.

What is not refundable

We generally cannot refund credits that were used and produced a comic, simply because you did not like the result. AI output is unpredictable by nature, which is why the free comics exist. We also do not refund purchases made in breach of our Terms of Service.

How to request a refund

Email support@makeacomic.app with the email address you used at checkout or your order number. You can also contact our reseller Dodo Payments directly at dodopayments.com, since Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record and handles returns.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within a few business days; your bank may take a little longer to show it.

Statutory rights

Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or consumer protection you have where you live.
